As a result, finding the time to get everything done can be a significant challenge. The most important tasks should be at the top of the list, and the least important tasks should be at the bottom. These are tasks that don't require your attention and can be eliminated or postponed indefinitely.



2. Use a Time Management Tool

There are many tools available, such as calendars, to-do lists, and apps that can help you manage your time more effectively. These tools can help you keep track of your schedule, set reminders, and prioritise your tasks. I plan every single week. On Sunday we sit down and chat about where we need to be. Everything goes onto the plan, work, fitness, self-care, kids taxi. The biggest thing is to give yourself a break of you don't achieve what you set out to do.


For example, you can use a calendar to schedule your appointments, meetings, and other commitments. You can also use a to-do list to keep track of the tasks you need to complete. I have an extremely supportive partner, chores & childcare are

fairly even. I ask for help when I need it. I will not take everything on.

I love a time block, I can work the oddest hours and if I am in the zone I will push through. The gift I give me is I try not to work Fridays. I will work when I have to but I have learned to switch off and this has been priceless.

To practice time blocking, start by scheduling blocks of time on your calendar for specific tasks. For example, you could schedule an hour to respond to emails, another hour to work on a project, and another hour for exercise. During each block of time, focus solely on the task at hand and avoid distractions such as social media and email. I do not have my phone in the same room as I work in. If the school ring, they ring me and my partner so I know I won't miss that. Clients tend to email and voicemail is a wonderful thing.


5. Take Breaks

Taking breaks is another essential time management strategy. Many of us believe that they need to work non-stop to be productive, but this is not true. Taking breaks can help you recharge and be more productive in the long run.
